Interview by Scott Nesbitt

I was recently interviewed by the Plain Text Project website. It was a fun interview to do as it gave me a chance to talk about my writing workflow and my use of plain text for initial drafts.

Scott Nesbitt has been running the website for the past three years and has done a great job putting together a set of articles on all things to do with working with plain text. One of his sources of inspiration was an article of mine called "Living in a Single Text File" which recounted my experiences doing all my work (notes, articles, planning, etc.) in just one EMACS file. I wrote the piece originally in 2006 and republished it, on a whim, on this website when I launched it, almost five years ago. It continues to both amuse and surprise me that to this day it ranks at, or near, the top of my visitor traffic each month!

Anyway, Scott's website is well worth taking a look at. I thoroughly recommend having a browse there.

P.S. And yes, a plain text version of CHRONOS is available for all you die-hards!
